AUTUMN- HOLIDAY NEWSLETTER 2010
Greeting:
This summer I have been spending much of my time catering to personal family needs. Now that my husband’s surgery is behind him and he is recovering nicely and a new grandbaby has arrived, I hope to spend more of my time focusing on CCSC. We are nearing the end of the summer, which always means change; children back in school, autumn fairs and looking forward to the holidays.
It’s not too soon to be thinking about holiday gift giving. With the economy in such upheaval, what better gift to give than a handmade bar of soap, which is both economical and useful.
Mark your calendar for upcoming shows for CCSC! 
- On Saturday and Sunday, October 2nd and 3rd, you can find us at The Harvest Festival, which will take place in the Artisan tent at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds, Rte 151, from 10 am to 4 pm each day under the big tent. The Harvest Festival will feature: a Farmers Market, Arts and Crafts, Hayrides, Pony rides, Barnyard Animals, Haunted House, Soil Testing, Beer Garden, Food Vendors, Games, Small Rides, 4-H Activities and more.
- On Saturday, October 16th, look for us at the Cranberry Harvest & Farm Festival from 10am to 3pm at the John Parker Road Bogs in East Falmouth. Local farmers will be holding open houses throughout the village called “Circle of Farms”. It should be a fun time for all!

I am also trying to be at the Woods Hole Marketplace every Sunday for the remainder of the season (in the old fire station next to the community center building on Water Street).
- Be on the lookout for upcoming dates on our website as well. We will be at the Holiday Fairs at the MBL and the last Fair of the season at the Coonamessett Farm on November 13th & 14th; 10-4pm.
